ABOUT THE TIN
Because all our birch bark tins are 100% handcrafted no two tins are ever identical!
The pattern is hand-embossed into each tin separately. The rims are hand-stitched with a birch bark strip. The lid and a bottom are made of solid birch wood. The surface feels warm and velours. Each tin is an exquisite masterpiece of artisan work.

♻️ NO TREES WERE HARMED
Birch bark easily peels from the tree. Removal, when done correctly, does not kill the tree. However, because birch bark has remarkable preservative properties and decays slowly, it can easily be harvested from dead or fallen trees, where it still retains its incredible traits.
